Ach na craoibh
House ( pronounced "croov") built in 1830 and designed by Thomas
Telford is currently a family home. It was a Guest House previously but the
business is restricted to the barn. The house is beautifully situated for
those with peace and tranquillity in mind and the converted barn sits to the
side of Ach-na craoibh house.
The garden is
big enough to allow visitors a comfortable stroll (and the more active are
welcome to prune a tree or two or pass on the benefit of their knowledge!)
The garden also contains picnic benches, a public bar-b-que, and a safe play
area with swings and a climbing frame for children
All the flats
have colour televisions, cookers, microwave ovens, fridges, toasters, irons,
etc. All bed linen, towels and dishcloths are provided. There is a communal
washing machine and tumble drier as well as a very well equipped gym.
